Some of Maricao

The chocolate was to rich, maybe next time.

Then some sugar and milk and heat

And a peanut butter looking bar of chocolate!

This smells chocolatey finally

I dried them on the roof for the last two days, now they roast!

Well I think they are fermented they smell vinigary.

The cocao seeds nest ferment for like a week before I dry them, I think since it is such a small amount maybe they'll be better with just 3 or 4 days?

To be chocolate!

We made it in this morning into maricao at about 4:30, met family and hung out all day.

So basic plan as I know it: my mother and I are going to puerto Rico. We will arrive up in Maricao tomorrow early in the morning. We will visit family and she will be going back home on the 15th and I have no return date yet. Hopefully I will make it into South America somehow. How is up in the air.

Off to puerto Rico today. Flying out of Wichita, ks!
