Surreal Rocks (actually water smoothed brick rubble)

Book jeep going into battle to fight illiteracy!

Some last fotos of Buenos Aires.
Just arrived in Arequipa Peru for the second time. We took a 2 day long bus ride to here from Buenos Aires. Just about enough bus to drive a guy insane. Anyways back in Peru. What a rude place in comparison to Chile and Argentina, but very cheap. Its a love hate relationship Peru and I.

We made it to Salta last night. We ended up stuck in San Pedro another night which turned out to be pretty cool. Apparently the bus stations don't like to be opened in san Pedro. We went to the station varios times throughout the day and our bus line was closed. So we went in the morning before their bus was suposed to leave, and still not open. So we went to another bus line which left the next day. Because the bus lines leave every other day, this one actually wanted business and was open, so we left yesterday. With our day we rented bikes and went to Valle de la Luna here are some pics.

Room full of mummies on little tables

Here is the museum we visited today. It was about the people that lived in Peru throughout time. Aparently they were mummifing people 1000s of years before the Egyptians. Anywho:
My visa debit card won't work on the ATM machines here. The banks were no help, they just kept leading me to other ARMs. Finally some bank suggested I go to a casino and have them try to get my money out. It was funny because they were happy to do so as you could imagine they would be. Also they didn't charge me any fee to do the transaction unlike the ATMs that want around 6 dollars a transaction. Anyways for that I figured I should loose a little money in their casino, not much just enough to pay my transaction fee. Its funny to me that a casino cares more about you taking your money out than a bank, maybe some day I will open a CasinoBank where your fees are all a gambling experience and sometimes your fees turn into a big win.
